The infant CPR portion is based on the American Heart Association’s Friends and Family class that teaches lay people emergency care for infant choking and newborn CPR techniques. You will learn baby basics, including everyday tasks such as diapering, holding the baby, feeding and burping, sleep behaviors, soothing the baby and signs and symptoms of illness during the infant period.
